About me
Hi, my name is Samuel Harris. I'm from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, and I'm currently pursuing a BS in Data Science and Mathematics at the George Washington University.
I am very interested in using machine learning and data mining to solve real world problems. I am especially passionate about using Data Science to understand and find solutions to problems related to climate change (head over to IPCC's official page for the latest data about climate change). I plan on focusing on climate change for my senior Data Science capstone project.
In my free time, I love to write articles, play guitar, and watch baseball. Go Pirates! In addition, I love reading and learning about 20th century history.
Education is important not because it could potentially make you wealthy; rather, education is important because it is the key to making the world a better place. It is my goal to use my education to help the world in whatever way I can.
I encourage everyone to use their unique skills to make an impact.
Thanks so much for reading!
